This intensive shares exactly how I built my career:
1. Become an expert producer of music that's unmistakably your own and then finish lots of it
Master your craft so completely that your sound becomes instantly recognizable. Not by copying what's popular, but by developing techniques and approaches that reflect who you genuinely are as an artist. When you're this good at being yourself, people notice. This isn't about watching the most production tutorials - it's about actually getting down to brass tacks and finishing lots of music. You learn infinitely more through the process of finishing things than you do passively consuming information online.
2. Launch your own branded label and take complete control of your career
Creating your own label gives you a release system that lets you control your timeline, your creative direction, and your overall growth. You can put out as much great music as humanly possible without having to wait for someone else's approval. This independence becomes your competitive advantage because while others are waiting for labels to get back to them and "anoint" them with their blessing, you're building something for yourself (ironically the very thing that those labels usually look for in artists they will release). As you grow the label with your own releases, you're able to release (and remix) music from other artists that inspire you - mutually benefiting all parties involved and growing the brand further.

Anjunadeep is one of the most highly respected labels in the underground dance scene. It's responsible for launching the careers of many major artists you see headlining festivals and clubs worldwide; Ben Böhmer, Lane 8, Yotto...
Anjunadeep gets thousands of demo submissions every single week. Can you imagine how hard it must be to stand out in their inbox - particularly as a relatively unknown artist?
The reason why I mention this is that in contrast to getting lost in a sea of demos, my releases on Anjunadeep came about by being personally contacted by the head of A&R at the label and asked if I had anything that they could release.
